The Baxter Avenue Morgue is looking for potential actors for the up coming 2026 haunting season!
We are holding an open cast call on July 25th, 2026 8pm - 12am to meet and interview all those who are interested in becoming an actor at one of Louisville's oldest and most prominent haunted attractions!
FAQs
Who is allowed to apply? Anyone 16+ who is interested in being a haunted house actor!
Do I need experience? Experience is not required but any acting experience is a plus! We will train and teach you how we DO and DO NOT scare customers.
What do I need to bring to be interviewed? Nothing is required! just bring yourself and a positive attitude- everything you need will be provided for you.
Do I come in costume or character? At this stage, we ask you arrive in plain clothes with no mask or make up. We'd like to get to know YOU first before meeting the monster!
Where do I go? To the Baxter Avenue Morgue! 451 Baxter Avenue, 40204. You'll meet us at the garage door at the back of the building!
How will I know if I am being hired? We will take your info through your application, and once all interviews are preformed we will reach out to you via phone or email to let you know your application status!
Can I fill out my application online? YES! You can find our application on our website, feel free to fill it out and email it back to us via the website chat feature or message it to us on our Facebook page.
