Battletech Battle Day (Beginner Friendly!)

Battletech is the science-fiction miniatures game where players control towering robotic constructs, called battlemechs: titanic machines weighing 20-to-100 tons and combining copious armour plating with a bristling array of myriad weapon systems.
This will be an afternoon dedicated to casual play in the universe of Battletech and will be appropriate for both new and established players!

BATTLE DAY SCENARIO: STOLEN ASSETS
The year is 3151 - Clan Wolf has taken over Terra and become the ilClan. In order to bolster his waning forces, Alric has rallied the surviving Jade Falcons and Republic of the Sphere to his cause. Certain Clans are none too happy with the arrangement as the Wolves cannot pay their debts, and find themselves with few friends.
Clan Sea Fox, once staunch suppliers of material to the wolves are circling the Sphere like their old name sake and are calling in their debts. They have strong-armed a variety of groups that defaulted on their payments to "give" back their goods. Some forces have chosen to not allow their new toys to go quietly.
Your mercenary force is no different. Landing on the moon of Holiday orbiting the planet of Wyatt, your aim is to loot as much as you can while Clan Wolf is away regrouping their forces on Terra. There is much to take including leftovers from fallen components of the TAS Dreadnought - former ship of the first Star League and the ruins of one of Bowie Industries manufacturing plants on the moon. Don't stay too long though, as it is only a matter of time before the Wolves and their allies come back to their many dens in their Empire.
OBJECTIVES
Players have a limited amount of time to explore the battlefield and scan for salvage. A patrolling unit of Clan Wolf Solhama are still on the planetoid in garrison and will try to stop players from getting away with their ill-gotten gains. Clan Sea Fox has also been reported in the area with a repo-squad eager to claim their own prizes - including your 'mechs. Try to collect your lucre and survive as best possible.
Units with Beagle Active Probes may benefit for scanning hidden objectives and contributing to your score!
Ruleset will be from Battlemech Manual, and Total Warfare
RESOURCES
For all Players who are interested in attending, please bring the following:
- Up to 2 'Mech Miniatures & their Record Sheet / Sheets
○ Unit selection is from the Master Unit list 2.0 and limited to the Mercenary Faction under ilClan era - Unit Search · BattleTech
○ Maximum Battle Value is 3,000 BV for 'Mech selection. All Player pilots will be upgraded to 3/4 at the beginning of the game at no cost.
○ All Players will be granted one Edge Point for the scenario.

Game Masters will have a limited assortment of 'Mechs, Record Sheets, Pencils and dice for those who do not have them. Beginners and New Players are welcome to attend!
