EVENT DETAILS:
Entry to the event is $20.00 which is to be paid at the door upon registration.
Attendees are expected to be registered with, and have the Best Coast Pairings app functioning before the day of the event. Please visit their website for information on how to get started.
Roster Submission: In order to participate, attendees must submit their Matched Roster in text form via the Best Coast Pairings (BCP) app.
K*ll Team Composition: Attendees will be required to have a legal roster, plus any equipment they plan to take. In addition, players will need their own measuring tools, dice, and optionally, tokens to play in this event.
Scoring: At the end of each game, attendees will use BCP to record their results.
Pairings: This event will utilize BCP to record scores, generate pairings, and assign tables. Attendees must have BCP installed and functioning prior to check-in. First round opponents will be randomly determined. Following rounds will be determined using a swiss pairing system, utilizing the BCP app.
Tournament Schedule: Final registration will be done IN PERSON the morning of the event. Please be on time. The event is limited to space and availability, and slots will be filled prioritizing folks who pre-registered via the BCP event. Contact us at [email protected] for a waitlist if the event tickets on BCP are sold out. Doors will open at 10:00 AM on the day of the event. The first round will begin promptly at 11:00 AM so be sure you are registered prior to the start of the round.
Rounds: There will be 3 rounds, each lasting 1 hr 45 mins, and there will be 1 hour for lunch.
Awards will be given at the end of the event.

Missions and Maps: The event will feature maps that are both open and on ITD. If you have additional terrain or boards available to bring, please confer with our other players on our Discord server. We will only use official KT terrain.
Any new releases, balance dataslates, FAQ’s, or errata published **one week** before the event **will not be used.**
Modeling and Painting: Modding of operatives is allowed as long as:
1.) It is approved by the tournament organizer. Inquiries for approval must be submitted to [email protected].
2.) Each operative is clear as to its function.
3.) The mod does not confer any additional benefit beyond the **official** operative.
4.) The operative is mounted to the **official** base size.
**ALL SUMISSIONS FOR APROVAL MUST BE SUMBITTED DIRECTLY TO THE T.O. VIA EMAIL NO LATER THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE TOURNAMENT, AND NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. SUBMISSIONS MADE USING ANY OTHER CHANNEL OF COMMUNICATION EXCEPT FOR EMAIL WILL ALSO NOT BE ACCEPTED.**
Prizes: TBD on the day of the event, but will include a prize pool of store credit from the registration fees.
Battleground K*ll Team Player's Choice Award: At the conclusion of each round, in addition to your score submissions through BCP, you will need to fill out a 3 question Player's Choice Award score that you will be given a QR code to submit. These questions are regarding sportsmanship, fun, and your opponent's paint/craftsmanship of their team. This is the most important award we give out at our tournaments, so the winner does also receive a prize during our awards ceremony at the end.
Learning to Play: If you are interested in this tournament but don’t know how to play, we have a few solutions for you! The quickest way to hop in is to join the Battleground Discord and ask about teaching games on our K*ll Team channel. Our friendly community members are always willing to teach and answer questions you may have. In Norton, we also have casual play meetups on Thursday nights. The best way to secure a match for this is still our Discord server, though. Come on down and join the fun!
