LOCAL BANDS/SOLO ARTISTS WE WANT YOU!!!We are really pleased to announce that In Sam鈥檚 Name will be in partnership with the Dukeries Brewery Tap and Gunsmoke Barbeque to produce the Battle of the Bands on the 22nd November and the 6th December
This is a really exciting opportunity for anyone wanting to prove themselves, gain a bigger fanbase or to spread their name across the local area
We鈥檙e looking for any bands/solo artists in the local area to submit one of their original songs to [email protected] for a chance to be entered into the Battle of the Bands. Please submit in the email which date you will be available for or write both if you are available on either date. If you are selected to perform you will be given a 30 minute slot with a maximum allowance of 2 cover songs to engage the crowd. The winner will gain a place on the main stage of Spongefest next year on the 14th June 2025
On the 22nd November we are pleased to announce that the Beautiful Martins will headline the Battle of the Bands who will cover songs from the iconic bands Housemartins and the Beautiful South who were fronted by Paul Heaton
On the 6th December we are thrilled to announce that Standing on the Shoulder of Oasis will headline playing all our favourite songs of the forever popular Oasis
Make sure to free up the dates and we will see you there
All proceeds will be donated to In Sam鈥檚 Name
