On Halloween night, five local rock bands will take the Lincoln Theatre stage to perform for a chance to win $1000 and to perform a longer show in 2027. Spanning hard rock, classic rock, garage rock, alternative, and a sweet mix of covers and complete originals, the 2026 Battle of the Bands is the ultimate display of Marion’s most musically talented.
The Buzzards, The Diversions, Nameless Feeling, 21 Blackbirds, and Clockwork Empire are gearing up to put on their most epic performance ever, with just 30 minutes to win over the crowd and secure one of two coveted prizes. The Grand Prize of $1000 and a headline show in 2027 will be determined by a panel of regional judges with expertise in the fields of music and entertainment. The People’s Choice Award will be determined by the crowd, and the award winner will get the opportunity to perform as an opening act.
This event is a fundraiser for Lincoln Theatre preservation efforts. Tickets are $15, general admission, and a selection of spooky-themed adult beverages will be available for purchase. Guests should expect to see their favorite local rockers dressed in costume, and all are encouraged to participate in a costume contest at the show!
