The Unionville Volunteer Fire Company is proud to announce the 1st Annual Flag Football Tournament, “Battle of the Badges,” held in honor of two of our fallen firefighters: Assistant Chief Tony Murdick and Firefighter/Paramedic Scott Wilson.
The tournament will take place on Saturday, November 14, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Butler High School football field.
All Fire, EMS, and Police Departments are encouraged to put together a team and compete for bragging rights while supporting a great cause. All proceeds will benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the National Fallen Officers Foundation.
This will be a public event, with a $5 entrance fee for the public. A 50/50 raffle will also be available at the entrance.
The tournament will follow college rules and feature 7-on-7 play. Departments may submit team rosters of up to 12 players $100 per team.
To register, please email your department name and team roster to [email protected]
We look forward to seeing everyone come out to support these two outstanding organizations, which provide care and assistance to our fallen brothers and sisters and their families!
