Another Epic Battle of The Badges is going down between Augusta Fire and Augusta Police on the Basketball Court. Doors open at 10:30am. The concessions will be open. We will have items from local businesses that will be raffled off.
Come on out and support your favorite team/teams while raising funds for a great organization
AFD and APD will be working in conjunction with The Augusta Elk's Veteran Committee to raise funds for the Organization " Mission Working Dogs" For more information on them please check them out. This Organization is worth a look.
Straight from Mission Working Dogs: To improve the lives of our community members who are living with a disability by providing them with properly trained service dogs to help them live more independently despite a physical disability and by providing therapy dogs which will bring mental well-being to the people of Maine such as those in nursing homes, hospitals, and schools.
