In the bustling city of Jammu, far from their ancestral homeland, a Kashmiri Pandit family navigates the complexities of modern life — while quietly holding on to the threads of a world they left behind.
At the centre of it all is an elderly grandfather with a memory condition, whose longing for Kashmir grows stronger with each passing day. What unfolds is a journey — tender, humorous, and deeply human — that asks what it truly means to belong, to remember, and to return.
"Batt Koch" — meaning Lane of Kashmiri Pandits — is a story of family, memory, and the quiet pull of roots that never let go.
