🦇Bats & Banter is a community event that brings together the alternative sub-cultures in a low-pressure way. Have you been wanting to meet more likeminded people? Not sure where to go or how to start a conversation? We're here to help!
What to expect:
For a Gold Coin donation (or more if you see fit), you can enter The Crypt, Ballarats award-winning bar with a gothic theme.
Upon entering you have the option of name tag and a coloured wrist band to indicate your social battery levels. We'll leave the introductions up to the extroverts, shall we?
Inside, you'll be able to enjoy the following:
- A lucious abundance of themed cocktails and mocktails, as well as nibbles to enjoy from a range of comfortable seating options.
- A game of alternative bingo with AMAZING themed prizes to be won if you complete it!
- Clothing swap racks: bring along things to swap/donate, or grab 1 item with no swap if something is taking your fancy!
- Bracelet making station.
- Colouring-in stations with art from local artists! (No AI here, ew).
- Conversation cards to help keep the banter going!
