Join Herefordshire's very own "Bat Man" James Bissett for a late evening stroll around Bodenham for an insight into the world of bats.
About this Event

James will give an Initial talk on Bats worldwide, UK and Herefordshire until sunset when the  bats emerge (If you would like to bring a chair for this part , please do)

After the introductory talk we will walk through the orchards moving down and around the lake, River Lugg and Bodenham Church, then return on roads via Old Bodenham Village. Finish circa 10 to 10:30pm back at car park.

A loan bat detector will be available (or please BYO) so people can hear and also hopefully see some bats.

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather and temperature and sturdy footwear as there is uneven ground and it will be dark. You may also want to bring  water/drink.

Children over 12 welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

No dogs

**If wet during day then likely need to cancel as the bats are not keen on rain or strong winds - we will notify you on cancellation by email
