Bat Walk in Terryland Forest Park

The Rhodo Rangers and Tuatha Volunteers of Terryland Forest Park are excited to host a bat walk with local ecologist Scott Bastow. Scott has extensive experience studying and working with bats. He will discuss the species of bat found locally, and and provide bat detectors and guidance on their use for participants to use throughout the walk

This walk starts after dark when bats are most active, so please be cautious! Wear comfortable shoes as we'll be walking throughout the park. We'll meet at An Nead/The Nest on Sandy Road (https://maps.app.goo.gl/ThKGvvFmLNd5pZ9R6). Free parking is available in the carpark in front of Galway Bay FM.
