About this Event

We welcome you join this night-time exploration of a hidden woodland wildspace - right beside Maze Hill station on the borders of East Greenwich/Westcombe. A gently-paced walk with a group led by Les Clark local bat expert - we usually see the bats flying above and using bat detectors "hear" their ecolocating signals as they hunt for insects overhead.

Regret the woodland is not wheelchair accessible. The site is a steep slope with uneven ground/path and several flights of steps - bring a torch and please wear strong footwear and suitable clothing as it may well get cooler in the woods after sunset.

NOTE: Bats are not keen on wet weather. If we need to cancel or postpone the event, we will advise using the email given in your Eventbrite booking
