A bat box is a fantastic way to attract bats to your garden, giving them a helping hand by providing them with somewhere to roost overnight.
Bats are extremely important to nature in the UK, and worldwide. These special flying mammals work hard catching insects and pollinating plants. Their numbers are declining though – you can help them by putting up bat boxes!
Thank you to Wood-B Awen’s carpentry project for adults with learning disabilities, who have cut and provided the wood for this session.
Children must be supervised by an adult. All building materials and tools are provided. Tickets needed for participating children ONLY.
This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, in partnership with Bridgend Country Borough Council.
