BASZO Roundtable | Your Financial Thermostat | Manchester
About this Event
More money came in. More went out. The overdraft crept back. The savings never quite stuck.
This isn’t a maths problem. It’s a thermostat problem.
Everyone has an internal number: the amount of money that feels “normal” for someone like them. Go above it, and something in you finds a way to bring it back down. Drop below it, and you scramble to climb back up. You never chose that number. It was set years ago, by how your family talked about money, your first payslip, and the people you grew up around.
This BASZO Roundtable goes deep on ONE question: what number have you been living at, and who set it?
We'll explore:
→ Why earning more doesn’t fix money problems (and what does)
→ Where your financial “normal” came from, and why it feels like the truth
→ Why people sabotage themselves right after a breakthrough month
→ How I cleared £25K of debt on the same salary, and what had to change in me first.
HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS:
We sit around a table—coffees in hand. Bruno opens with one question — then we go around the room. Everyone shares. Everyone listens. We challenge each other's thinking. We hold up a mirror. And we leave seeing something we couldn't see when we walked in.
People keep coming back — and they keep bringing friends.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF:
→ You earn decent money, but it never seems to stick
→ You’ve hit an income level you can’t break through
→ You’re carrying debt, and you’re tired of the cycle
→ You know your relationship with money was shaped long before you had any
→ You’re ready to be challenged, honestly and without judgement
THIS IS NOT:
✗ A seminar or workshop
✗ A sales pitch for anything
✗ Financial or investment advice
✗ A place to network for business cards
✗ Somewhere you sit and listen to a speaker
This is a conversation. The kind you wish you had more often with the right people.
WHAT PREVIOUS ATTENDEES SAID:
"It's actually very powerful. Beyond what we actually think." — Stephen
"A different type of discussion. Really powerful. Looking forward to the next one." — Ian
"I would definitely recommend this event to anyone who really wants to elevate themselves. Come around and get involved." — Stephen
"Why not go there, share what I know, and learn from them. It's been good so far." — Pratick
ABOUT THE HOST (Check HIS PHOTO BELOW):
Bruno is a young Portuguese-British creator, coder, trader, hybrid athlete, Kizomba dance instructor, event organiser, and founder of BASZO. After 6 years in banking, he's stepping away from corporate life to build a life of purpose — through coaching, content, community, and faith.
He ran the Manchester Half Marathon in 1:50. He's hosted 3 roundtables that have grown from 7 to 12 people per event. He teaches weekly Kizomba dance classes and runs monthly events for 100-150 people. He's currently coaching clients and documenting the entire journey on social media.
He's not a guru. He's a young man who decided to stop waiting for permission and start building. And he wants to help you do the same.
