Bastille Day Cooking Class

Happy French Independence Day, better known as Bastille Day! Join us for a day of French merriment and experience the tastes of France during this hands-on cooking class, led by Chef Jorge Montes. The event takes place in the back event space at Sistrunk Marketplace at noon on Saturday, July 13th, and is one you surely won't want to miss.

Experience includes:

• "Le Piece of Resistance"- Champagne cocktail with Gin and Absinthe -- welcome cocktail
• Escargot Vol Au Vent in Spinach Cream-- welcome bite (already prepared to enjoy upon your arrival!)
• Aprons, equipment, ingredients,recipes

Hands-on class:

• Bouillabaisse -Traditional dish from the Southern Coast of France which consists of a variety of Seafood prepared in a Saffron Fennel Broth.
• During the class, we will also prepare Rouille (red pepper sauce) and serve with French Bread.
