Welcome to Presque Isle Bay—where history meets world class adventure on the water! Known across the country for its legendary Smallmouth Bass fishing, this bay is teeming with both Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, promising nonstop action from the first cast to the last.
Bass on the Bay 11 kicks off the season as the first of five AOY qualifiers for the Kayak Anglers of Western PA. Even better—this isn’t just another tournament. It’s our premier Signature Event for 2026, bringing together top anglers, fierce competition, and the unbeatable backdrop of Presque Isle’s stunning shoreline.

Entry fee:
KA member: $50 (TourneyX and Independent Judging fee included)
Non-member: $65 (TourneyX and Independent Judging fee included)
Optional $10 big bass buy in
Deadline to sign-up is Friday May 1st, at 8pm!
Event outline:
Friday May 1st
Virtual Captain's meeting via Facebook live will be at 8pm.
The 3-digit code will be announced live, emailed to you, and posted on the TourneyX app at 9pm. The 2026 KA universal identifier and code must be in all photos.
Reminder: Your Identifier must contain the 3-digit code, your initials, and must be completely visible in your fish submissions.

Fish submitted by: 3:00pm
Awards: 4pm

The 24-hour protest period ends at 4pm.
Winners will be paid via PayPal.
Please be considerate to state park users and other boaters on tournament day. Also, PLEASE follow the speed limit in the park! 25 MPH means 25 MPH!
An approved boundary map is available below and will be posted on TourneyX.
A safety flag is required to fish this event. If it’s dark when you launch, you need a 360 light or headlamp.
A Lake Erie permit in addition to your 2026 PA fishing license is also required.
You are not allowed to use a Donkey Leash, Fish Grips, or any other means of leashing the fish at this event. This is a requirement by PFBC and will result in you being disqualified from this tournament. Leave them in your car!
Limit: Your longest 5 bass in inches
