Welcome to Freedom Youth Foundation's Free Sports Clinic for Foster Youth and Their Siblings in Treasure Valley!
We’re thrilled to invite you to our basketball clinic, designed to empower foster youth by developing athletic and life skills such as communication, teamwork, and accountability.
Open to foster youth ages 5 to 18 and their siblings, this event is a unique opportunity to grow, learn, and have fun. Following the clinic, a complimentary lunch will be provided.
During the event, participants will engage in various drills and games, all under the guidance of our dedicated volunteers. At the end of the day, we’ll celebrate four outstanding individuals with trophies for sportsmanship, leadership, inspiration, and success awards.
Important Event Details:
- Time: The clinic begins promptly at 10:30 AM, with registration opening at 10:15 AM. Please ensure that your child arrives on time to make the most of this experience. We strongly encourage arriving by 10:15 AM for registration.
- What to Bring: Participants should wear athletic shoes and bring water.
- Parental Presence: While foster parents and guardians are not required to stay for the event, your presence is welcomed. We trust you to know what’s best for your child and encourage you to stay, especially in case of any injuries or behavioral incidents.
Important Notes:
- Arriving on Time: To ensure your child has the best experience, please arrive no later than 10:15 AM for registration. Late arrivals may miss out on important activities and instructions.
- Cancellation Policy: If your child cannot attend, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can adjust our plans accordingly.
