NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting + Virginia CCW

Join us at the Silver Eagle Group for a hands-on course designed to give you the knowledge and hands-on skills you need to handle pistols safely and confidently. This class is ideal for first-time shooters and experienced shooters looking for a structured refresher to build confidence and accuracy - all while meeting the requirements for your VA CCW.

This course covers:

• Firearm safety rules and procedures
• Firearm handling and storage
• Shooting fundamentals
• Legal rights and responsibilities of concealed carry in Virginia
• Gun cleaning and maintenance
• Range etiquette and safe range procedures
  

All training is conducted under expert supervision.

Whether you’re brand-new or brushing up on fundamentals, this course sets the foundation for safe, responsible gun ownership.

Course format:

• 6.5 hours classroom instruction, followed by range qualification
• No live ammunition is allowed in the classroom

Ammunition & rentals:

• Students will need to bring firearm and one box of ammunition (9mm or .40 caliber)
• Range fee
• Firearms can be rented at Silver Eagle Group

Certificate:
Upon successful completion, your certificate can be used to apply for the Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit.
