The Harvest Collective will be hosting a workshop to help individuals learn some of the basic tools of permaculture design to apply to their own landscapes.
We will explore topics such as:
- Reviewing the principles of permaculture
- Discussing zones in permaculture design
- How to get your ideas onto paper
- Discussing plant selections
- How to stack functions in the built environment
- Weaving in the critical elements of water, sun, wind, and soil.
Weather permitting, we will also walk a site at Lick Run Farm that The Harvest Collective plans to design and discuss the various considerations in plant selection and placement.
