This one-day workshop, designed for smaller congregations, equips WELS and ELS members with practical livestreaming techniques for ministry and congregational use.

Through hands-on demonstrations with current equipment and software, participants will learn core concepts, key considerations and best practices for planning and running effective livestreams.
Ideal for both beginners and those refining existing setups, the workshop focuses on:
• Core concepts and key considerations for livestreaming
• Best practices using current equipment and software
• Practical application in WELS/ELS congregational settings, with examples and Q&A
Tentative schedule
• 8:15–9:00 AM – Continental breakfast
• 9:00–9:30 AM – Welcome and devotion
• 9:40–10:50 AM – Livestream essentials and common misconceptions
Learn the essentials of a practical livestream setup and common misconceptions to avoid.
• 11:00–11:30 AM – Streaming hardware, software, and services
See how the main livestream tools work together and what to consider when choosing them.
• 11:30 AM–12:15 PM – Lunch (provided)
• 12:30 PM–1:30 PM – Live demonstration groups
Explore software, hardware, and audio workflows in small-group demonstrations.
• 1:40–2:40 PM – Group rotation
• 2:50–3:50 PM – Group rotation
• 4:00 PM–5:00 PM – Q&A, camera distribution, and closing
Wrap up the day with final questions, camera distribution, and closing encouragement.
Participation is limited to 30 attendees, representing up to 20 congregations. Each represented congregation will receive a new FoMaKo 4K PTZ camera (up to 20 cameras in total).
