About this Event

Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Whats Her Bucket’s Cookies is here to help! In this 2-hour class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron). Wine is available for purchase through Ancestry Cellars, so sip, relax, and decorate.

Ditch the PSL, babe — it’s time to upgrade. 🍷🎃

We’ll be serving up our festive faves during this 2‑hour cookie decorating class made for witches who like their cookies sweet and their sass strong. If you’ve got a bone to pick with royal icing, this class is claw‑some! 🐾 All purrs, no hexes — I promise.

You’ll learn step‑by‑step how to bring our Basic Witch cookie set to life — think pastel pumpkins, ghostly cuties, haunted houses, and a little witchy flair that’s just your vibe. Perfect for a girls’ night, date night, or a solo “treat yo’ self” moment.

About this Class

This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! Sweet, spooky, and totally Insta‑worthy — our Halloween cookie set will taste amazing and look even better once you’ve cast your icing spell.

We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

Treat yourself to a purr‑anormal delight, babe. 🍷🐾We’re calling all Basic Witches to grab a glass of wine, channel your inner kitchen sorceress, and join us for a meow‑gical night of cookie‑decorating mischief.

We’ll raise our spirits (literally and figuratively), cast some sweet spells, and transform plain cookies into boo‑tiful works of art. A little wine — like any good witch’s brew — makes the magic even sweeter.

So bring your broom, your besties, and your sass. Let’s sip, snack, and conjure up cookie creations that are wickedly cute and hauntingly delicious. ✨🎃

This class is on October 17, 2025 and started at 5:00pm – 7:00pm sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family - we have seating for up to 15 people! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo!

This class is good for ages 16 to 100, but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home, plus - we'll send you the class website so you can teach them yourself!

The class will be held at the Ancestry Cellars in Woodinville, WA located at 13590 NE Village Square Drive, Suite 1035, Woodinville, WA 98072.

Things to Bring

Wondering what you need to bring to have a successful time decorating? Well – nothing’s required – but here’s the things we recommend if you’d like to elevate your experience!

  • Bring an apron! Things can get messy when you’re workin’ with royal icing – so grab an apron (bonus points if it’s cute – I’ll definitely be asking where you got it).
  • Bring your glasses! There’s a reference slide deck to help you decorate, but if things get blurry far away, seeing glasses may be a great bet.
  • Bring your phone! I love it when students take pictures throughout class – so bring a phone!
  • Bring a mask if you’d like! These classes follow the state health guidelines, but if you’d like to wear a mask throughout class – please do!
  • Bring a good attitude! Cookies are fun, but they're also challenging! A good attitude makes all the difference.

About the Baker

Who doesn’t love getting out and doing something fun while also eating delicious cookies!? That’s what Whats Her Bucket's Cookies is all about!

These classes are based in Woodinville and cater to the beginner cookier or people just looking to have fun learning a new skill. Whether you just want a fun date, a girls-or-guys-night-out or just want to explore what cookie decorating is on your own - we have a seat for you.

For our classes, all you will need to bring is yourself (and an apron if you are a messy decorator), and I’ll take care of the rest. Oh – and bring eyeglasses so you can see the instructional website if your eyesight is anything like mine. You will get a set of pre-baked cookies (pretty tasty if I do say so myself) as well as all the supplies you will need to decorate them during the 2 hour class. You will leave the class with your very own box of your very own newly decorated cookies!

A little about me – I’ve been baking sugar cookies since 2020 – and I’ve not put down a scribe since (don’t know what a scribe is? I’ll teach you in class!). My favorite cookie themes to decorate are birthday, baby, or first responder sets – but I can do pretty much anything if icing’s involved. I love what I do –who wouldn’t love making cookies?! It’s the sweetest job in the world!

Oh yeah - I have classes throughout the year which highlight different themes so make sure to sign up for our newsletter so you can get in on the cookie action!

DIY / Add-On Kits

Order your sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to teach a child or friend! These class kits come with everything you'll use in class, and I’ll email you the class PowerPoint so you can follow our step-by-step instructions from home! Cookie Class DIY Kits are created before your class, and you'll pick them up and take them with you after class.

How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home. Cookies are heat sealed for freshness – but again, use it in under a week to make sure it tastes the best.

Allergen Disclaimer / Class Cancelation Policy / Weather Policy / Fees Disclaimer

Allergens: Heads up – these cookies include the following ingredients:

VANILLA ALMOND SUGAR COOKIE INGREDIENTS: Flour (WHEAT flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), butter (cream (MILK) natural flavor), sugar, EGGS, vanilla extract (water, sugar, glycerin, alcohol, extractive vanilla beans, natural flavors, fruit juices(color)), almond extract (water, alcohol, oil of bitter ALMOND) salt

ROYAL ICING INGREDIENTS: powdered sugar (cane sugar, cornstarch), water, meringue powder (modified food starch, dried EGGS, white sugar, gum arabic, sodium aluminosilicate, citric acid, potassium acid, tartrate, vanillin), vanilla extract (water, sugar, glycerin, alcohol, extractive vanilla beans, natural flavors, fruit juices(color)), almond extract (water, alcohol, oil of bitter ALMOND), corn syrup (corn syrup, salt, vanilla extract), vegetable glycerin (vegetable glycerin derived from palm oil)

Please note – these cookies are prepared in a kitchen that also bakes with common, known allergens: EGGS, MILK, NUTS, ALCOHOL

Please consider your allergies before registering.

Class Cancelation Policy: Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund including your Eventbrite fees.

Classes with attendance below 10 will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either get a class credit for a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance 5 before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans for that day.

Weather Policy: Sometimes Jack Frost doesn’t play well with cookie class schedules, and Mother Nature seems to be takin’ notes. In the event of inclement weather, I’ll contact you with options – these may differ depending on the weather event, but rest assured – we’ll figure something out!

Eventbrite Fees: Your ticket price includes your ticket fees; however, Eventbrite does not refund its fees. If you cancel your ticket and request a refund prior to the cancelation window expiring, I’ll happily give you a refund less the Eventbrite fee – since I don’t get this fee back either. Eventbrite keeps it regardless of whether you show up or cancel. I know – I hate it too!
