Join us for a relaxing beginners watercolor class focused on mindfulness and basic techniques. We will explore wet/dry and wet/wet methods, learning about washes, blooming, gradient blending, and lifting. The session begins with a brief mindfulness exercise combining brush strokes with calm breathing work. Participants will practice creating sky reflections on still waters, with optional additions like foreground trees, shoreline, birds, or focal points. All skill levels welcome.

Class will be held in the Community Room to allow for a quiet open space to paint and chat.

Required supplies:

Watercolor paper: 9x12 recommended (cold-pressed 140lb)

Watercolor brushes: Size 10, 12

Watercolor paints/palette (tube or pan)
