About the Class
Whether you are an absolute beginner or someone who needs to shake some rust off before your next project, we invite you to join us in learning about the wonderful world of DC TIG welding. The first half of class will be dedicated to learning about the fundamentals of the machine, gas, and proper welding set-up. We will discuss all parts of the tig torch, filler metals, diffrent cups and more.
We will be focusing on TIG welding with mild steel .
Note: This is a prerequisite for TIG Welding aluminum classes.
Age Limits
Minors between the age of 12 to 16 are welcome to join but must be accompanied by an adult. A ticket should be purchased for both the minor and adult. Minors that are between 17 and 18 will still need an adult to sign a minor waiver form but an adult does not have to buy an accompanying ticket.
About the Instructor
Shiloh is an accomplished welder coming from a mobile welding background having done repair and custom fabrication on all manner of equipment and materials. They are well versed in mig tig and stick, able to weld steel, stainless, and aluminum. They most enjoy being able to help people with their problem and teach them a skill when the opportunities came about.
