Join Sara McCourt on Friday, August 15 & Friday, August 22 from 1-4pm for a Basic Drop Spindle Workshop at Arts on Main!
In this class, the students will learn the basics of spinning wool on a spindle. This is a two part class. In the first class we will learn the basics of drafting and spinning a single ply yarn on a spindle. One week later the students will come together and learn how to ply two singles into a final 2 ply yarn using their spindles. They will also learn how to finish their yarn for use in other projects.
All supplies will be provided by the instructor.
