"The musical project ""Barzakh"" was founded in 2018, driven by a profound passion for Eastern musical heritage. The project aims to revive old traditional songs and anonymous folkloric styles, reimagining them with a modern touch to captivate a new generation of listeners. The name ""Barzakh"" is inspired by the spiritual concept that refers to the barrier separating two worlds. In the context of this musical project, ""Barzakh"" embodies the moment where traditional and contemporary music converge. Ancient melodies are reinterpreted with modern musical instruments, producing a unique and innovative sound.
The collaboration between the three musicians of ""Barzakh""—Ayoub, Bonga, and Mohamed Sami—adds immense value to the project. Each member brings diverse musical backgrounds and experiences, contributing to a rich and eclectic blend of sounds and melodies. ""Barzakh"" seamlessly fuses traditional music with electronic sounds to deliver a truly unique listening experience.
