Barter Market

Come as you are and celebrate you and the Twin Cities’ unique gifts by bringing something (or twenty somethings) to trade at a Holden Barter Market!
The market will take place at Meraki Center on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 1-4 p.m. The concept of a barter market captures Holden’s mission and vision wonderfully—bringing people together to share their unique gifts—and it is an activity that has taken place many, many times in the village. Folks can bring anything that is able to be traded: clothes, pottery, weavings, prints, jewelry, baked goods, and more. If you can dream it and create it, you can trade it!
While we cannot exactly replicate the place of Holden Village in Minneapolis, we can try our best to replicate what that place allows to form: connection, transformation, humor, and creativity. In order for Holden Village to survive this era, its name and vision must stay alive. Participation in Holden events is one of the best ways to ensure that the village can be restored and thrive, once again, upon reopening.
Please fill out the attached Google Form to express your interest in attending and bartering. If you have musical or artistic abilities you would be willing to volunteer, let us know!
