Barrio Logan Grand Prix Kids Bike Rodeo, Helmet Giveaway & Race

The Barrio Grand Prix Kids Rodeo and Bicycle Race will take place on Saturday, May 16, starting at 9:30 a.m. The event will be held at 1824 Newton Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113, in the Barrio Logan neighborhood. Kids will learn safety skills and participate in bicycle drills that will improve their bicycle handling ability. Kids should bring their bikes. There will also be a helmet fitting and giveaway at the rodeo. A bicycle race for kids by age group will happen from 11:15 – 11:45 a.m. 

The kids’ events are part of a USA Cycling permitted bicycle race put on by the San Diego Bicycle Club and sponsors. Races start at 7:30 a.m. and continue for most of the day. For more information, see http://sdbc.org/barrio-logan
