Enjoy our popular "Sipping Saturday" in Downtown Barrington at our Fall Wine Walk on October 5 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Explore unique shops and boutiques while sipping on some great wines. As an added attraction during the day, you can watch artists paint in the streets as part of the Plein Air Art Festival in downtown Barrington hosted by the Barrington Cultural Commission. And, be sure to checkout the creative Scarecrows throughout town as part of our Scarecrow Fest!
The Barrington Fall Wine Walk offers about 20 stops each offering a red and white wine for sampling. All wine is available through our local wine purveyors. You will receive your official tasting program during checkin at Scratch Pastificio Co, located at 133 Park Avenue, that identifies the wine you will enjoy that day. Specific wine notes are posted at each Wine Walk stop to enhance your wine tastng exerience; and the location where that wine is available for purchase.

The Fall Wine Walk will be held rain or shine. All sampling happens inside merchant locations. Parking is available on the street - in the Barrington Village Center parking lot, in the Village Hall parking lot, on Cook Street, in the BMO parking lot off of Cook Street, and in other locations.
All attendees MUST CHECK IN AT SCRATCH PASTIFICIO for their souvenir wine glass, Wine Walk program and tour map. All IDs will be checked at registration. One sample of a red and white wine is available at each wine tour location. There are multiple wine stops. All Wine MUST be consumed inside the Wine Walk Stop!
The Wine Walk is a wonderful opportunity to experience the shops and restaurants in downtown Barrington. Many Wine Walk stops are offering special activities and giveaways. Plan to spend the afternoon walking around town, tasting fine wine, socializing with friends and shopping at unique stores. Then settle in for a wonderful dinner at one of our fine dining establishments!
