Barrington Area Development Council Annual Dinner & Citizen of the Year

Join the Barrington Area Development Council (BADC) for an evening of recognition and community as we honor the 2026 Citizen of the Year. This annual event brings together local leaders, business professionals, and residents to celebrate those making a meaningful impact in the Barrington area. Karen Lambert, President, Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, will be the Keynote Speaker.

5:30 p.m. – Reception with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar

6:30 p.m. – Dinner, Keynote Speaker, Karen Lambert, President, Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital

Meal Options: Beef tournedos, Mediterranean chicken, or Ratatouille Wellington (vegan/vegetarian)

Net proceeds benefit BADC programs and initiatives. Tickets must be purchased by Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Refunds available up to 14 days prior to event.

Nominate the 2026 Citizen of the Year

BADC is now accepting nominations for this year’s Citizen of the Year Award. Nominees should be individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service in areas such as public service, philanthropy, education, conservation, healthcare, and other fields that contribute to the community.

Purchase Tickets by Check

If you would like to purchase tickets to the Annual Dinner via check, please mail your check to Barrington Area Development Council to P.O. Box 72, Barrington, Illinois 60011. Please include a note with the first name, last name, email, meal section, and dietary restrictions for each attendee. Checks are due by Friday, April 17, 2026.
