BARRIKADY - A Red October Stalingrad Event

A ten-year commemoration of the original Factory Stalingrad Events, Red October brings a beloved mid-war tactical back in new environments.
About this Event

OSO events are more than just camping in uniforms-- they are a chance to perceive history with all senses. BARRIKADY gives attendees-- both the Germans and Soviets-- a unique and memorable setting that showcases the challenges faced by the defenders of Lyudnikov's Island. Featuring apartment buildings, industrial architecture, winding corridors, sloping hills, vantageous angles, varied lighting, and over a mile of tunnels, the Indiana State Sanatorium presents a rare opportunity for reenactors to experience the complexities of urban combat. Join us as we recreate the last stand.

Reach out to event organizers if you would like to inquire about bringing your period vehicle for combat.

An important note for registrants -- Please ensure that you register under the unit to which you are verifiably affiliated. This is essential so that unit commanders have an accurate understanding of who is part of their group and under their responsibility during the event. If a registrant selects a unit with which they are not officially affiliated, we will contact them by email to clarify the discrepancy, confirm their correct unit, and remove them from the incorrect roster.

IMPORTANT FOR GERMAN REGISTRANTS:

If you do not see your unit listed on the registration form, please reach out to us so we may add it as an option. This event is invite-only for Germans. Only units that have received their invitational card will appear in the drop-down menu. Applications for your unit to be considered for invitation may be found here → https://forms.gle/z89S4ZeYorn61QSq7

If you believe you selected the wrong option in error, please contact us. We are happy to help you correct your registration!

Please pack your combat gear and sleeping equipment so that it may be easily loaded onto the transport truck. Participants will be dropped off into the combat zone from the parking lot and registration desk. Bring warm clothes and a flashlight with spare batteries-- it's going to be a cold one!
