Barrel of Laughs is a stand-up comedy series featuring both nationally recognized acts and our very own local talent. We are bringing the laughs to you once a month throughout the cooler months. Hosted at Prairie Street Brewing Co. at 6:30 p.m. with a variety of seating and beverage options. Shows will take place in The Barrel Room.6:30 PM – Doors Open – Need a bite before the show? 🎤 Headliner Vince Acevedo
Vince Acevedo is a veteran comedian and self proclaimed "old soul" that has been performing world wide for over 19 years. He is one of the most unique rising stars on the comedy scene today. His quick-wit and clever, improv-based style make him a truly original voice.
His grandparents originally from Puerto Rico, Vince was born and raised in Chicago. He started stand up as most do at open mic nights and got addicted to hearing laughs which grew his passion for wanting to keep them going.
Vince has appeared on Bill Bellamy’s show “Who’s Got Jokes,” Martin Lawrence’s “1st Amendment Stand-Up,” and “Just for Laughs” on TBS. Vince was a finalist for the prestigious “NBC Stand Up for Diversity” and performed at “The World Comedy Expo 2022.”
Vince has opened for major acts including The Wayans Brothers, Tommy Davidson, Donell Rawlings, Deon Cole, Hannibal Buress, Garfunkel and Oates and many more!
🎤 Featuring Kevin Kellam
Kevin Kellam can be heard on Rockford’s ‘the X’ 104.9 FM radio and performs monthly at ZANIEs Comedy Club as a host of the viral hit web series Roast Battle Chicago.
Outside of radio and comedy, Kevin chases other microphones doing podcasts about pro wrestling for millions on Sportskeeda Wrestling. He has performed all over the country at clubs like Comedy Store, Lincoln Lodge, Comedy Cabin, and the Laugh Factory.
He is from the southside of Chicago, 4th of 5 kids with parents who asked him to turn the volume down often.
