Barnas Verksted er en fast, gratis helgeaktivitet for barn på Sentralen.
Barnas Verksted finner sted i Vinterhagen hver lørdag og søndag mellom 11:00 og 16:00. Vinterhagen er et åpent lokale som ligger i første etasje på Sentralen.
For å komme til Vinterhagen går man enten gjennom hovedinngangen i Øvre Slottsgate, og opp den lille trappen, eller tar en kort tur med heis.
Det er trinnfri atkomst til Vinterhagen gjennom kafeen. Kafedøren er på hjørnet til Akersgata og Tollbugata.
Barnas Verksted er helt gratis, og man kan komme og gå som man vil.
På Barnas Verksted kan barna tegne, male, lime, fargelegge, bygge duplo, leke og lesebøker i lesehjørnet under trappa. Foreldre kan kose seg i lenestolene og rundt bordene i Vinterhagen.
Rett ved siden av Vinterhagen ligger Sentralen Kafe. Her kan man kjøpe kaffe, te, juice, brus, bakst, lunsj og pizza. Alt man kjøper i kafeen kan tas med inn i Vinterhagen.
Noen helger er det også andre gratis aktiviteter på Barnas Verksted. Dette kaller vi for Barnas Verksted Spesial!
Tidligere har det vært høytlesning, juleverksted, hennatatovering, kunstverksted, sløyd, street dance, drageverksted, ansiktsmaling, buttonverksted og sirkusverksted. Vi oppdaterer Facebook-arrangementet og programmet på sentralen.no når det skal være Barnas Verksted Spesial – følg med!
Barnas Verksted passer aller best for barn fra 2 til 6 år, men alle er hjertelig velkomne!
Vi finner alltid et sted for barnevognparkering inne i bygget.
Hvert år arrangeres hundrevis av arrangementer for barn og barnefamilier på Sentralen. I helgene kan barna oppleve blant annet konserter, teaterforestillinger, festivaler, turneringer, verksteder og gaming. De aller fleste arrangementene for barn og barnefamilier på Sentralen er rimelige eller gratis.

Barnas Verksted is a regular, free weekend activity for children at Sentralen.
The name translates to "the Childrens Workshop".
Barnas Verksted takes place in Vinterhagen every Saturday and Sunday between 11:00 and 16:00.
Vinterhagen is an open space located on the first floor of Sentralen. To access Vinterhagen, either go through the main entrance on Øvre Slottsgate and up the small staircase or take a short elevator ride.
There is step-free access to Vinterhagen through the café. The café door is on the corner of Akersgata and Tollbugata.
Barnas Verksted is completely free, and you can come and go as you please.
At Barnas Verksted, children can draw, paint, glue, color, build with Duplo, play, and read books in the reading corner under the stairs. Parents can relax in the armchairs and around the tables in the Winter Garden.
Right next to Vinterhagen is Sentralen Café. Here, one can buy coffee, tea, juice, soda, pastries, lunch,and pizza. Anything purchased in the café can be brought into Vinterhagen.
Some weekends, there are also other free activities at Barnas Verksted. We call this Barnas Verksted Special! In the past, there have been story readings, Christmas workshops, henna tattoos, art workshops, woodworking, street dance, kite workshops, face painting, button workshops, and circus workshops. We update the Facebook event and the program on sentralen.no when there is going to be a Barnas Verksted Special –stay tuned!
Barnas Verksted is best suited for children from 2 to 6 years old, but everyone is warmly welcome!
We always find a place for stroller parking inside the building.
Every year, hundreds of events for children and families are organised at Sentralen. On weekends, children can experience concerts, theater performances, festivals, tournaments, workshops, and gaming, among other things. Many events for children and families at Sentralen are affordable or free.
