Join us for a hands-on experience where you'll learn to design, paint, and finish your very own 4x4 ft outdoor barn quilt in a 2-day workshop with instructor and artist, Connie Broyhill. Barn Quilts here in Wilkes often represent family histories, local landmarks, or our community heritage, and are considered a staple feature of the Appalachian culture.Led by our skilled instructor, this workshop provides everything you need to create a unique, one-of-a-kind barn quilt. Choose from 2 different designs. Learn the complete method of drawing out your design on the board and applying paint in your chosen colors to create your one-of-a-kind pattern.
All supplies, including the 4x4 pre-primed plywood board, paints, brushes, and finishing materials, are provided. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned crafter, you'll receive step-by-step guidance to ensure your barn quilt turns out beautifully.
