What is Barn Hunt?
Barn Hunt is a thrilling sport that mimics the traditional practice of hunting for vermin, where dogs search for hidden rats in straw or hay bales. It tests a dog's scenting abilities, agility, and problem-solving skills. 🐀🎯

Want to learn and try more ratting sports?! Come join us for an hour and a half Happy Ratters workshop!
What is Happy Ratters?
Happy Ratters is a separate governing body for ratting sport - as opposed to the Barn Hunt Association. In Happy Ratters, dogs hunt for rats in an urban setting. The courses are set up utilizing simulated trash: boxes, bags, and discarded containers made of cloth or plastic. A dog is required to tunnel or burrow as well as cross over a board or bridge. Dogs do not need to climb. There are several game classes as well as regular classes with levels similar to Barn Hunt. The Happy Ratters allow food in the ring with lots of Praise! 🐕❤️🐀

Includes a briefing of the sport, a demonstration, and time at the end for the handler and dog to try it out! 🐕📚
Duration: 1.5 hours ⏰
Open to 10 teams (dog & handler) 🐕👩🦰
Donation: $50.00 per team, or $60.00 with a photo package 📸

February 1st will be the snow day - please plan accordingly. The slot you scheduled for January 18th will be the same on the snow day if we have to use the snow day.
