This year the Barmy Competition is back with a bang! What is the barmy comp you might ask? Chaos is the answer, organised chaos all thought up in Chris's mind! What a wonderful insight into a mad man's head! The name of the game is to have fun! We will start at Heathy Lea at 10:00 and all players must be back by 17:00 to avoid getting points deducted. Visit as many of the way points as possible to collect points, and climb as many routes as allowed to collect additional points. Full rules will be published on WhatsApp and email at a later date but rules are there to be broken and the true winners will prevail! The Heathy Lea hut is available to members to book on the website and the competition will be followed with an evening of fun in the Barn; bonfire, bbq and award ceremony. Find a partner, devise a plan and turn up on the day for guaranteed fun. If you don't find a partner beforehand you will be able to team up with someone on the day. it might all seem daft and pointless but isn't that joy of mountaineering anyway? It's just a good excuse to get outdoors and have fun
with your peers and make memories that will outlast the totems you keep getting stuck in cracks. Maps will follow in a separate email.
