Whether botanical, biblical, or simply bonkers, year five of the Barffet will be anything but bland.Your task is to create a dish inspired by the theme “Garden of Eatin.” It can be an appetizer, side dish, salad, main dish, dessert, beverage, or anything in between.
The event originated as a celebration of kooky vintage cuisine but has since evolved into a “Choose Your Own Adventure” of gastronomical feats. This is the perfect event to showcase your twisted sense of humor and playful palate.
Arrive decked out in a look inspired by the theme or come as you are. Prizes will be awarded for best food and costume (categories TBA).
Schedule:
2:00 - 3:00 - Display your dish/es. Nosh on some lite, non-competition food (contributions appreciated). Eyeball all of the entries in preparation for voting.
3:00 - Vote for your faves. Winners will be announced soon after.
Feel free to bring family and friends and hang out ‘til whenever.
