Bare Scenes: A Beginner's Fiction Workshop
About this Event
In this generative workshop, writers will utilize poetry, photos and novel excerpts as inspiration to write a handful of short scenes that they can take home with them and expand, to develop them into bigger fiction projects. This is a low stakes, communal environment where writers are encouraged to share their work with the group and receive positive and encouraging feedback. No experience is required. This is a pay what you can event, with a suggested donation of $10.
This workshop is developed and run by Alya Somar. Alya Somar is a Guyanese-Canadian writer from Mississauga, Ontario.
