Come join the Beekeepers Association of Rowan County for our November meeting.**Please note new meeting location at the former Salisbury mall - see bottom of post for details**
Our guest speaker this month is Rob Lelewski of the Bearded Bee Apiary, a small neighborhood apiary with approximately eight hives. At his day job he provides incident response and computer forensic support to help respond to computer crimes and other cybersecurity incidents. Occasionally he also makes some mead that turns out okay but is still happily consumed.
Rob's presentation will explore the benefits of using a bioserver to easily view live data from beehives, and share the presenter’s experience in developing and building the bioserver, as well as in gathering and interpreting the data.
Guests are welcome.
**Please note that this and all future meetings will be held in the new location at Rowan County Events Center located in the former Salisbury mall - 1965 Jake Alexander Blvd. **
There are two roundabouts at the facilities. One leads directly to our office, while the other directs you to the event center. If you see a flag post, you are at the wrong roundabout for the meeting. Please go to the roundabout with the overhang. There will be a sign in the parking lot and on the doors to indicate that you are in the correct location.
Once you enter the building, continue straight down the hallway. There will be an arrow pointing to the right, which will lead you to the Oak/Pine room.
