Fall Preteen Yoga (5th and 6th grade)🍂 Breathe, Stretch, Grow 🍂
This fall, give your preteen the gift of mindfulness, movement, and confidence! Our Preteen Yoga class is designed especially for kids in 5th and 6th grade, blending age-appropriate yoga poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises in a fun and supportive environment.
Each week, we'll explore creative themes inspired by the season—like grounding like trees, flowing like wind, and finding calm like a still lake. Through movement and mindfulness, students will build flexibility, strength, balance, and body awareness, while learning tools to manage stress and boost self-esteem.
No prior yoga experience needed—just a willingness to move, breathe, and have fun!
🧘♀️ What to Bring: A yoga mat, water bottle, and an open mind
📅 Session Dates: Thursdays
📍 Location: Maltby Middle School (right afterschool)
👕 Dress: Comfortable clothes for movement
Fall Session: 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/02, 10/09, 10/16
Class Breakdown:
3:45 pm-4:15 pm - snack time/stretching, meet in the lower gym.
4:15pm-5:15pm CLASS
5:15 -Pick Up
