About this Event

Participants will watch Barbie before the event and then gather at VisArt Video for a thought-provoking presentation and discussion examining the film's themes, Barbie’s cultural impact, and broader conversations around identity, belonging, authenticity, ambition, and social expectations.

We will also share selections from a Barbie exhibit but bring your own favorite Barbie to show if you'd like.

Because sometimes the most interesting part of a film isn't what happens before the credits roll—it's the conversation that begins afterward.
