About the book:
Duality of Wolves is a coming of age memoir about growing up on the road while being raised by wild, fierce loving caretakers.
This book highlights the duality of our lived experiences. That two things can be true at the same time, and there is not just one lesson, but many in any given moment.
The gift of duality is that we get to decide what those moments mean for ourselves.
From bar fights to fun loving campfire nights, Duality of Wolves unfolds the complexities of love, grief, freedom, belonging and displacement to show the reader that when you reclaim the meaning of your history, you come home to yourself.
This book is for any child who had to learn to navigate a world different from how they were raised, who felt as though they had to hide a part of who they were and where they come from. For anyone who found themselves having to defend or argue their own lived experiences because their life was too wild for others to comprehend.
