What is Bar Stool Bingo?
Bar Stool Bingo is an interactive fundraiser featuring a popular bar game: Chicken S#!T Bingo.
And yes, you read that correctly.
Here’s how it works: participating players purchase a square numbered 1–64. Each number corresponds to a square in the chicken coop. This year, to increase the number of squares available, we’ve strayed from a traditional bingo board. Players will also have the option to purchase squares in zones, or “hot spots.”
The game is played in multiple rounds of a single, sudden-death game of bingo, and the winner is chosen by the chicken.
Whaaat? How can the winner be chosen by a chicken?! I’m glad you asked! The chickens are safe, warm, happy, and especially well-fed in a coop made specially for them for this event. The chickens will eat their dinner and then…um…well… process their food. You know what they say: what goes in must come out!
When “nature calls” and a chicken’s droppings land on a numbered square, we have a winner!
Get it? Stool. Like…never mind.
You’ll be able to watch the chickens in real time on the TVs at Esters, thanks to the help of Channel 8 Wheat Ridge.
A note about purchasing squares: We will be selling squares for all rounds at the beginning of the event, starting at 6:00pm. We will stop selling squares at 6:45 p.m. Any remaining squares will be sold between rounds.
Sometimes, a “result” can take a few minutes, but based on past events, we know we’ll be able to play several rounds over the course of our two-hour event.
