Banshee Tree started in Colorado, building early momentum through a weekly residency at a Boulder speakeasy. They merge acoustic and electric styles, featuring sharp lyrics, jazz guitar solos, saxophone, and dance grooves. The band grew up on stage, playing everywhere from street busking in New Orleans to festival stages and acoustic bluegrass bills. Led by guitarist, vocalist, and producer Thom LaFond alongside drummer and harmony vocalist Michelle Pietrafitta, joined by saxophonist Jesse Shantor. Banshee Tree released their full-length record Bad Luck, which captures their transition from a live swing/jam act into a studio-focused, eclectic indie-pop powerhouse.

Multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter Laura Leigh is at once a relic of a bygone age and a fresh face in the new generation of folk. Pulling from tried and true traditions of old time country and rock and roll, while effortlessly skating between contemporary genres with grace and good humor, she has nonetheless found a sound that is wholly her own.
