FREE drop-in banner-making activity! Join us as we get ready for Derby's Reclaim The Night Women's March against misogyny - a great chance to meet friendly people to march with later.
You are welcome to bring your banners in progress to finish, or bring any cardboard, materials etc to make your banners or use our supplies. You can also contribute to team efforts making placards and signs for the march over a cuppa and chat, and perhaps even some practice chants and songs to warm up our voices for later.
This a women's space, trans inclusive, LGBTQ+ friendly and non-binary folks who face misogyny and feel affinity with our work are welcome. Kids are welcome - please note that some banners will address mature and sensitive issues such as domestic abuse and violence against women.
Bring your banners along to the march meeting at 7pm at The Spot, heading to a rally outside the Council House for 8.15pm.
