They tried to silence these words—so we’re reading them out loud.
Join us at 518 Craft for an unforgettable evening celebrating the freedom to read. We are bringing together a powerful lineup of local poets, actors, musicians, and writers to breathe life into pages that have been banned, challenged, and censored throughout history. From literary classics to contemporary masterpieces, you’ll hear the stories and ideas that some people didn't want you to encounter.
Come grab a drink, support local artists, and stand up against censorship in the best way possible: by listening.
Whether you are a lifelong bookworm, a free-speech advocate, or just looking for a unique night out with great performances and excellent drinks, this event is for you. Grab a friend, grab a drink, and let's celebrate the power of the written word. See you there!
