Join the League of Women Voters of the Greater Joplin Area for their annual fundraiser. This year we are hosting Banned Book Bingo!It will be a fun, casual meet up from 6:00pm-9:00pm. As always, we invite the public to join us! This year we will be holding "Banned Book Bingo!" A suggested $10 donation at the door will grant entry, directly supporting the League's non-partisan mission to empower voters and defend democracy.
Upon entry, participants will receive a free bingo card for each themed round. In addition to the bingo, attendees are encouraged to participate in a banned book swap. Guests can bring a book that has been challenged or banned to exchange with others, promoting open discussion and appreciation for diverse literature.
Chaos Brewing is 21 and over, so please bring your ID. They have pizza and pretzels on the menu, so there will be a few options for food.
