Join us in 2025 as we bring a distance for every runner in a single day of racing. the Island running festival will feature a Half Marathon, 10K and 5K and will start/end at Faction BreweryThe various distances will highlight several beautiful areas around the island from Alameda point and it’s many new running trails, the estuary shoreline, USS Hornet and a beautiful venue at the finish.
We hope that all of Alameda comes out to enjoy a day of running, walking, and supporting the community at this marquee Island event.
We are projecting 2,500 runners and another 1,000 spectators that will visit the island and we can’t wait to share all of the running trails, great views and local business on and around the city. The Bank of Marin Island Running Festival now in its 6th year includes an expo around Health and Wellness presented by Alameda Health Systems, as well as community involvement with local schools, businesses. Portions of the proceeds go to AEF (Alameda Education Foundation)

Course Maps: Due to city of Alameda construction on some of the key roads, the Half will be 2 loop course for 2025. We hope next year we can bring the full island loop experience.
