Putting feelers out for stalls for at least two outdoor markets at my pub, The Hardinge Arms (DE738BX).Hot food vendors not required but sweet treat makers are welcome, along with craft/gift artisans.
Firstly for August Bank Holiday Monday, the 25th. We would start the event from 12pm, serve BBQ food & have a singer later in the afternoon.
Secondly, the King's Newton community has a Christmas light switch on, hosted at the pub on the first Saturday of December. This year that is the 6th.
The lights tend to go on around 6pm, so we would like a market from 4pm until around 8pm.
We serve event food & it is a well attended occasion which we wish to develop with a gift market.
We are looking into what marquees we can gather for the winter event, as we don't trust the weather 😅 but it would be handy for stallholders to have their own gazebos for both just in case.
