BandFest Kaunas 2026 kviečia dar kartą pasinerti į galingą pučiamųjų muzikos šventę! Festivalio ašis – Kauno pučiamųjų instrumentų orkestras „Ąžuolynas“, šiemet švenčiantis 65 savo kūrybinės veiklos metus.
Rugsėjo 6 d. 14 val. Istorinės Lietuvos Respublikos Prezidentūros sodelyje, kaip festivalio BandFest baigiamasis akordas, skambės iškilminga muzikinė laudacija Prezidentui Valdui Adamkui, kurio jubiliejų visa Lietuva minės šių metų lapkritį.
Programą atliks Kauno pučiamųjų instrumentų orkestras „Ąžuolynas“ (vyr. dirigentas Giedrius Vaznys). Skambės Lietuvos maršų programa – Emeriko Gailevičiaus, Jono Brauno, Juozo Gudavičiaus ir kitų autorių kūriniai, kuriuos iš istorinių rankraščių atkūrė ir aranžavo kompozitorius Kazys Daugėla. Ramovėnų, Prezidento, Karo muziejaus maršai, kompozicija „Vyties Kryžiaus kavalierius“ ir kiti iškilmingi kūriniai nuties muzikinį tiltą per Lietuvos valstybės istoriją, pagerbiant Prezidentą Valdą Adamkų ir Lietuvos prezidentystės tradiciją.

BandFest Kaunas 2026 invites audiences once again to immerse themselves in a powerful celebration of wind music! At the heart of the festival is the Kaunas Wind Orchestra "Ąžuolynas", which this year celebrates the 65th anniversary of its artistic activity.
On 6 September at 2:00 PM, the closing highlight of BandFest will take place in the garden of the Historical Presidential Palace of the Republic of Lithuania. The concert will feature a solemn musical tribute to President Valdas Adamkus, whose anniversary will be commemorated throughout Lithuania this November.
The program will be performed by the Kaunas Wind Orchestra "Ąžuolynas", under the direction of Chief Conductor Giedrius Vaznys. The audience will hear a program of Lithuanian marches, including works by Emerikas Gailevičius, Jonas Braunas, Juozas Gudavičius, and other composers. These compositions have been reconstructed from historical manuscripts and arranged by composer Kazys Daugėla. The Ramovėnai March, President's March, War Museum March, the composition Knight of the Cross of Vytis, and other ceremonial works will create a musical bridge across Lithuania's history, honoring President Valdas Adamkus and the tradition of the Lithuanian presidency.
Admission is free.
The festival is funded by the Kaunas City Municipality.
