Join us for a great afternoon of local live music at The Gov - all artists have donated their time to Band Together for a fundraising event to help our dog rescue projects.
Live performances by talented local performers including:
BURT IN A SKIRT – A classy 5 piece band let by Kiwi-born singer Janine Saundercock, playing tribute to the master songwriter, Burt Bacharach. Bacharach’s songs have always been best interpreted by women – songs made famous by Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield, Karen Carpenter and other great female stars.
GRIFFIN BAND – This in demand local 6 piece party band love everything blues, rock, soul and funk. Lead vocals by one of Adelaide’s best female rock vocalists, Nicky Walsh. Get ready to get your Griffin on!
NATALEIGH - a South Australian song writer and musician who has been described as 'having the voice of an angel'. This powerful and versatile voice will be performing a range of songs from Linda Ronstadt to Bruno Mars, to Adele to John Denver. Anything that's possible with a guitar and a voice!
Also enjoy tunes from DJ BEN ZEN - You can expect smooth deep sounds with an infectious beat as Ben Zen takes us on a musical journey throughout the afternoon.

There will be food & drinks available, great prizes and - most importantly - 100% of all funds raised will go directly to our dogs in need.
So, come enjoy a great afternoon of music & fun and let's Band Together to help dogs in need.
If the weather is good, the event will be in The Gov Garden but we have The Gallery section as our poor weather backup plan. Both areas are kid friendly. Dogs welcome in The Garden area only.
Paws For Change is a registered Australian charity who, with their rescue partner, Bali Rescue Dog Squad, have their own shelters in Bali for sick, injured and neglected dogs. They have opened Bali's first safehouse specifically for senior rescue dogs and Bali's only special needs sanctuary for mobility impaired dogs.
Together Paws For Change and Bali Rescue Dog Squad are also constructing a new, purpose-built animal welfare sanctuary called Rescuetopia. All funds raised from Band Together will go to these projects.
On a local level, Paws For Change support animal welfare projects through their work with Greyhound Welfare Initiative (including the recent screening of The Little Grey Film), AWL (and the Canine Cup Fundraiser) and RSPCA SA (who we partner with on various events and through providing our products for sale in their Op Shops around Adelaide).
Paws For Change also give back locally by engaging a disability employment provider for the manufacture and packaging of their doggy apparel (bandanas, bow ties, scarves, etc).
